my sister and i watched this awhile ago at the Promenade and we envy Isla's figure. she looks so good even when she just had a baby. i guess i need to start seriously working out or try jogging with Sierra and my mom when we get to the States. i really hope and want to lose 10 pounds.

disappointing foot spa package

we just got home from Blue water day spa and we had the Pamper Delight foot package which is 800 php. we were really disappointed with the service,they said it was a luxurious foot spa and it turned out to be a not so special one. it was just not worth it. the whole service was supposed to be 2 hours, but the therapists were always going out of the room.we really felt bad because we were expecting that we were going to be pampered, but what they did was an ordinary foot scrub which didn't even last 3 mins. most of the time we were waiting for the mask to dry on our feet. we used to own a nail spa so i know the procedures and what they did was not really good. i actually felt robbed hehehe we could have gone to another spa and have gotten a better package with half the price. i was with my sister and half sister and after the service we were looking at each other. we waited for the therapists to leave the room before we started complaining to each other. the therapists were nice but the procedures that they were taught to do were just simple and really not what we were expecting. we even complained to the receptionist because we were actually bummed out that we had to pay 800 php each for a service that is just worth 300 php.

my birthday

How funny it is that last year i spent my birthday on a plane going back to the Philippines and today i'll be spending my birthday at an airport waiting for my mom, sister and 8 relatives coming from the States.

im so excited to see them .....

hair color in a box

i wanted to change my hair color again but because the salon was overpricing me i decided to buy the Loreal Feria permanent hair color. my sister in law colored my hair last night while we were watching the Grudge 3 in her room. the color turned out to be dark chocolate brown which i really like. this will be my base color and when my sister arrives we'll get high lights. at least i was able to save a few thousand pesos with my base color. the salon said that if they colored my hair they'll charge me 2500.00 php so i walked away from the salon hahaha the Loreal Feria box was less than 500.00 php and had a 10% discount at Landmark. the color i got was maroon glace.

practical bottles for our trip

i didn't want to spend any money on the shipping charge that's why i asked my sister to get me these instead at Target. i plan to use this when we travel and I'll be leaving all of Sierra's old bottles to our maid. this would be more practical especially when our flight is 18 hours long excluding the stop overs. I've also been doing some research on what to do to help Sierra feel comfortable and happy with the upcoming trip. it will be her first time to ride a plane.

petition was approved

the husband and baby had their interview at the US embassy yesterday , i was also there and I'm glad that i did come. for some reason i ended up being interviewed by the American consul even when i was the petitioner. anyway, thanks to GOD they were approved. as soon as we get their visa in the mail we'll be leaving for the States by March.

anyway, after learning that we got great news, me and my sister in law celebrated and went to eat at CIBO ( my favorite resto )at Makati. we also went to Rustan's and she ended up buying me my birthday present. she gave me an estimate on how much her budget was and i chose my gift. i got the Origins cleansing oil since my DHC is almost finished. i already tried it last night and i really like it. it's the cheapest cleansing oil at Rustan's.

Tory Burch sandals

it seems everybody i know wants to get their hands on a Tory Burch thora sandals.There was a bazaar at Rockwell tent last month and one stall was selling their Thora sandals for 8k even though the real price was only $115 plus tax. my sister is going to check out Nordstrom at MacArthur mall to check out what styles they have over there. Last year when i checked Nordstrom they didn't carry any Tory Burch line. I should know ..... i worked there for a few months the previous year.
